Promising review: "These are my favorite treats for my little guys, and they’re absolutely obsessed. There are so many ways to give them to your cats. Cut the top off and let them at it, drizzle it over their food, freeze it on a hot day, and let them lick it. My cat struggles with water intake, and often I will blend it into some water and give it to him like tuna juice. He laps the whole thing up. One whole tube of it is the perfect amount for my two cats." —Ains

Price: $6.41 for 20 packets (typically $10.69; available in eight flavors)

Promising review: "My dog loves these crumbled up on top of his food every day. They really help his coat stay soft and healthy-looking and the vet always gives him an excellent bill of health when he visits." —Chelsea

Price: $24.72+ (originally $32.97; available in several quantities and for specific ages)

Promising review: "Where has this been all my cat-loving life? Sticky rollers work fine for clothes, but this is the only product that has ever COMPLETELY removed all the cat hair from my bed. I have a long-haired 20-pound tabby, and if you run your hands up his back a few times and fling the hair everywhere, it looks like it's snowing — he never stops shedding, no matter what I do. After using the ChomChom, I can put on a black dress and roll around on my bed and not get a single hair on me. It's absolutely amazing. Everyone is getting one for Christmas, even if they don't have a pet. I don't care, it's THAT good." —DH

Price: $17.99 for the white version (typically $24.99; available in three other colors at various discounts)

Note that certain features are added with the optional $6.99/month Furbo Cat Nanny subscription (slightly cheaper if you choose to be billed annually), including the real-time alerts and video history. Without the subscription, you can still check the live view, interact via two-way audio, play with them using the attached feather toy, and toss treats.

Promising review: "I got the Furbo Cat Camera to help me watch my cat, Morse, when I'm out of the house, because he's a rescue cat and has some behavioral issues. It's been a godsend to just open the app and see what he's doing, no matter where I am — if he's up to mischief, I distract him with a treat or speak to him through the camera. Morse also enjoys batting the attached feather toy, and the ability to rotate the camera back and forth definitely makes it a more intriguing game for him. I love being able to entertain him from afar; it's saved more than one houseplant already! Plus, the Meowing Alerts keep me clued in on his activity. He's not a very vocal cat, so meowing indicates there's something I should check in on. Highly recommend for cat parents looking for peace of mind and new ways to look after their pets." —Elissa

Price: $36 for the model that requires a 3-month minimum subscription (originally $99), and $129 for the model that *doesn't* require a subscription (originally $210)

Be sure to talk to your vet before adding a supplement to your dog's routine.

Promising review: "These things are amazing!!! I have a 14-year-old Pomeranian, and he has had horrible allergies for his entire life. I went through the testing and shots, all to no effect. I have tried tons of different products and meds, changed foods, etc., and nothing worked. After just a few weeks of these, his itching was reduced by probably 90%!! I was amazed!! After years of fighting his allergies, this product was a lifesaver!! He still itches a little, but not the constant nonstop whining, itching, chewing, and secondary skin infections anymore. I love it. I will keep using it. Oh, and he loves the taste. Thanks!!!" —Daina Dowdy

It's safe to use on all sealed floors, including hardwood, marble, tile, and stone.

Promising review: "Just get it. I’ve lived in a house with cats that have given up on litter boxes and have just ruined our wood floors. Between the pee and cleaning product build-up, our floors have been sticky and gross for years. I used the mop one time; nothing has ever worked like this before. My floors are no longer sticky or grimy. It has genuinely changed my life. I never thought I’d find something that would fix this issue. I’ve tried every single cleaning product, and nothing has ever cleaned my floors the way this does. It is a bit of an investment, but no joke, I’m 21 and have been living with these cats my whole life, and we’ve never been able to properly clean our floors. This has truly changed my family’s life. Just get it." —Chloe

Promising review: "I purchased this kit because I have an 18-pound green-eyed, long-haired cat, whom everyone asks me about. 'Is she a Maine Coon?' 'Is she part Maine Coon?' I had no idea as to her lineage, as I found her struggling for her survival on the street and had no idea who her parents were. She turned out not to be a Maine Coon, but showed similar ancestry to rag dolls. Believable, as she’s very people-friendly and almost acts like a dog. However, the most important part of this test is the health reports. I’ve sent a copy to her veterinarian, so that we can be on the lookout for anything she may be predisposed to and to have the vet give suggestions as to how to avoid certain outcomes. I’m very happy with the test and recommend it to anyone with concerns about their cat’s health or curiosity about their lineage." —Madouc

Promising review: "Yup, saw it on TikTok and had to buy it. My car's upholstery was so dirty from my dogs and years of NOT getting it deep cleaned. This is a game-changer. I should've taken a before and after because it was awesome. Not to mention how satisfying it is to see the dirty water get sucked back into the tank. Easy to prep. Easy to use. Easy to clean. I definitely recommend. This will be perfect for other things in the house as well because if it can tackle MY car with two big dogs, it's gold." —Taylor L.

Promising review: "As someone with two dogs and a cat, this vacuum keeps up with them. If you know anything about German shepherds, then you know they shed 😅 I vacuum every three to four days and needed a heavy-duty vacuum that could also be used on hardwood floors. This vacuum does a phenomenal job of collecting all the pet hair." —Angelica

After working from home for the last three years, I've realized how much I value the air quality in my apartment. I live in an older building (think turn-of-the-century old), and there are lots of little holes and crevices where dirt, dust, and allergens can creep in. Coupled with the terrible air quality we've experienced in NYC because of wildfires in Canada a few months ago, the air in my home often triggers a sore throat, congestion, and sneezing fits in the morning. I have two air purifiers already, but I realized that buying replacement filters is ANNOYING and surprisingly expensive. The fact that this Shark air purifier can clean the air and doesn't need a filter replacement for five years is just *chef's kiss*. I keep this in the small office off the kitchen to help filter out odors from cooking, and it does a fantastic job. It also comes with a scented cartridge designed to keep your home smelling fresh. (Unfortunately, the scent gives me a headache, so I don't often have it running, but it does smell lovely!)

Promising review: "This air purifier has made a noticeable difference in my house, especially with pets and occasional smoke. I have animals and have also fostered a dog, so there’s always some level of dander, fur, and new smells coming into the space — and this has helped keep the air feeling much cleaner and fresher. I also noticed it responds quickly to smoke. You can actually see it kick into higher gear, and within a short time, the air feels normal again, which is really impressive. It runs quietly, is easy to use, and doesn’t feel bulky. With the added unpredictability of a foster dog in the mix, this has honestly been a game changer for keeping the house feeling clean and comfortable. Definitely worth it if you have pets or deal with smoke. My husband smokes cigars in the house, so we needed something heavy-duty for air purification!!" —Nora

Price: $99.99+ (originally $159.99+; available in eight colors/styles)

Promising review: "I recently tried this with my dog Kaito by mixing it into his regular kibble, and the difference was noticeable right away. He usually eats fine, but with this added, he was much more excited and finished his entire bowl (which doesn’t always happen). I like that it’s made with real, human-grade ingredients, and it feels like an easy way to upgrade his meals without completely switching his diet. If your dog is a little picky or you just want to add something fresh to their routine, this is definitely worth trying!" —Michael Spencer

Promising review: "This is the best litter on the market. I’ve tried cheaper versions, and I could still smell the ammonia from the cat urine, which is intolerable to me. I can go for a week without cleaning and not smell a thing. Fantastic product and worth the price." —Terri Evans

Price: $23.78 for a 6-lb. bag (available in three scents and packs of two)

Carpet messes are undoubtedly the worst to clean up, but you can also use this on clothes and other surfaces like concrete and hardwood. Just be sure to follow the instructions carefully for non-carpet use.

Promising review: "I have six elderly cats, and a few of them oftentimes leave smelly pee puddles to register their disdain at whatever cats get 'peed off' about. It's not a litter box problem and, although I've caught one or two of them doing it, I can't blame them all. This product works great on fresh messes as well as dried ones. After blotting up fresh pee pods, I saturate the area with Rocco & Roxie's odor remover and let it dry. For dried stinky stuff, I just saturate the area and let it dry. It has a pleasant odor and completely eliminates the ammonia odor. Believe me, I've tried all kinds of products, and this one works the best. I buy gallons now just to have on hand. It's better than smelling that awful pee!" —mona mia

Price: $19.13 (originally $23.99; also available in a gallon size)

Promising review: "I bought several packages of Under the Weather to have on hand in case of dog illness. One of my five dogs had stomach issues, so I broke this out and made some. Almost had a dog riot! Sick dog loved it and ate well. My four well dogs went on strike and had a meltdown over their dinners that didn't have this on it. I had to give them some, so peace was eventually achieved. All in all, good for dogs (both from my vet and according to my four well dogs), and 5 out of 5 dogs said it was delicious. I know, keep it on hand also for special holidays (they had this over their food for Thanksgiving dinner). SIX VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMERS!!" —Sheri

Price: $11.99 (originally $14.99; available in a variety of flavors)

The XS–M beds are fully machine washable, and the L–XL beds come with a removable, washable cover.

Promising review: "I bought one of these because it was recommended to help with my dog’s separation anxiety. It may help some with the anxiety, but my little dog was always occupying it, so my anxious dog had to boot him out if he wanted to use his bed. So, I bought another and now have two happy dogs. I have a large capacity washing machine, and these beds wash very nicely. We’ve had them for a couple of months, and so far, they seem very durable." —Lcaillo

Price: $19.99+ (originally $25.99+; available in eight sizes and lots of colors — discount varies by size/color)

Promising reviews: "This is a great product, and my dog loves it. I've noticed a significant change in my diabetic border collie's coat since he's been taking this. His coat is softer, and he seems to have more movement while on this product." —Sharon

"This really helps my cat with her tummy issues. Helps with hydration and she likes the taste. I can immediately feel the difference in how soft her fur is after she eats it. You can just pump a little in their wet food and mix it up. Just make sure you’re not giving your cat too much." —Mossy Heart

Promising review: "I was a little hesitant to purchase after reading some of the reviews. My cat has been overeating to the point of throwing up. Nothing I've done seems to help. When I travel, I have to leave a large amount of food out, which doesn’t help either. This feeder has been a game changer. It took minutes to set up. Notifies me when it's about to feed them, so I can watch to make sure both cats are eating. If one cat eats it all and the other cat doesn’t get anything, I can remotely feed them through the app. It notifies me when the feeder gets low or jammed. I do not have to use the paid services to do any of the things I use. I put an SD card in, and it records their movements. I can even talk to them or listen to them. I left town for 5 days and never had to stress because I was able to check in at any time. Oh, it has a battery backup, so you don’t have to worry if the power goes out; they still get fed. My cats are on a prescription diet, so this will save me a lot of money without overfeeding. I will recommend purchase again and again." —Rachael N.

Promising review: "This elevated dog bed is lightweight and easy to assemble. The breathable mesh really helps keep my dog cool, especially in warmer weather. It feels sturdy and holds weight well, and the removable cover makes cleaning convenient. My dog took a little time to get used to it, but now prefers it over regular beds. Overall, a good purchase for comfort and airflow." —Eric Chen

Price: $45.05 (originally $61.99; available in five sizes and colors)

Promising review: "I’ve been using this cat litter for years now, and it has consistently been one of the best products I buy for my home. With three cats, odor control is incredibly important, and this litter does an amazing job keeping the litter box smelling fresh, much longer than I would expect. It clumps well, which makes scooping quick and easy, and it really helps keep the rest of the litter clean between changes. One of my favorite things is having it delivered on a schedule — never running out of litter is such a huge convenience when you have multiple cats. Even with frequent use from all three of my cats, it holds up really well and keeps odors under control. After trying several brands over the years, this is the one I keep coming back to. Reliable, effective, and incredibly convenient. Highly recommend for multi-cat households!" —Amazon Customer

Price: $19.43 for (2) 18.5-lb boxes (originally $32.39)

Promising review: "This is my sixth attempt at an automated litterbox. I've had multiple versions, and they have all been mediocre at best. The flat style w/the rakes end up clogged, and I constantly had to scoop stuff it missed. There was one you hooked to water w/a dryer that made the whole house smell like baked cat poop. And cleaning them all was terrible because it was so much work to empty the used litter. This one, though...this one works! The cat uses it, and about 10 minutes later, it cycles the waste into a drawer. Once a week (it could go two, but I just do it every trash day), I hit an empty button that dumps all the used litter into the waste drawer w/the clumps. Close the drawstring on the bag and reset/add clean litter. No scooping, no struggling w/emptying litter, no stink, no hassle. And the cat is happy because her box is always clean. It's spendy but to me worth it because it works and saves me an hour and a half a week doing a task I loathe!" —Nicole B.

Promising review: "This works very well on my 10-year-old golden retriever. He is a 'tick magnet,' and when this medication is applied, the ticks will not embed on him. He never has a flea problem, so I can’t speak to whether it works for fleas. It does not cause any skin irritation and has no odor. It seems to last the full month before ticks become a problem again." —Amazon Customer
