Promising review: "One of my friends’ dogs has this interactive bee toy, and she loves it so much! I was thinking of getting one for my fur niece, and I bought one for her on Christmas, and she is OBSESSED with it! It entertains her a lot, and she even sleeps with one of the bees! Lol! Cutest toy ever!" —Stephy Get it from Amazon for $14.59+ (available in nine styles). Promising review: "We’ve had this toy for a couple of months now with no damage, which is a win in my book! It’s very easy to push treats of many different sizes into it, but fairly difficult for the dogs to get out, which is always the goal here. Definitely recommend." —Blix Get it from Chewy for $6.99+ (available in two sizes). BTW: It also comes with two rope chew toys! Promising reviews: "Best entertaining toy ever. This was the best toy I have purchased for my puppy yet. He loves it, and it helps keep him busy when he is in the yard all day. Only gave four stars for durability because, in a month, he has already torn up the rope toy and a little bungee. However, my 70-pound Chesapeake is what you would classify as an extremely heavy chewer." —Tammi Duckert "My dog loves this toy!!! Our collie loves to chew and tug, and this toy keeps him entertained!" —Judy Get it from Amazon for $15.99+ (available in three colors). Promising review: "This little guy has a fluffy exterior, durable rubber interior, and a squeaker so difficult to access I genuinely forget it's there most of the time. It's the holy grail of dog toys, IMHO. It's designed to be destroyed, which I LOVE. After those first few play sessions with the Hare Raiser, the cutesy cover started to fall apart, and I was admittedly bummed (mainly because I only ~skimmed~ the packaging when I first purchased this bad boy, and didn't understand)." —Danica Creahan, BuzzFeed contributor Read the rest of Danica's review of the Bark Super Chewer Hare Raiser toy here! Get it from Amazon for $17.99 (also available in five other styles). As I mentioned, my dog is very picky about the toys he plays with, and his toy basket remains untouched most days. Last year, I got a PR box that included a small tennis ball, and Bailey kept trying to take it. I let him have it, and he LOVED IT. Since then, we have gotten him several small tennis balls to play with as they've quickly become one of his favorite toys. Not only does he love playing fetch with them, but he also entertains himself with them. He also likes chewing on them (which is why we go through them so often), but the size is small enough that he can fit it in his mouth (just big enough that he won't choke on it), and he gets so excited when he hears the squeak!!! Get them from Target: a pack of five for $7.39 (size XS) or a pack of four for $9.79 (size S). Promising review: "I was skeptical when it first arrived and considered returning. My reason: my doggie didn't seem to know what it was at first. 🐕 But in no time at all, she's wild about this goofy ball. I've examined its durability, and she (whose bite force is that of a pitbull) hardly put a mark on it! Man, those goofy sounds it makes, 😆 as long as I hear that, I know my doggie is having a blast and keeping occupied." —Julius A.W. Get it from Amazon for $14.99+ (available in four styles). Promising review: "I love this product! My pup has had her antler for a month now, and she’s a very aggressive chewer, and her antler still looks basically brand new! She’s a 5-month-old golden retriever, and she was destroying her other 'heavy-duty' chewing toys, so I decided to get her an antler, and I think it’s one of my best purchases. It doesn’t smell, it’s very durable, and it’s a clean toy, nothing gross. I take it away from her sometimes and give it to her when I feel like she could use something to sit and chew on to settle in the mornings/evenings." —Nicole Get it from Amazon for $15.97+ (available in various sizes). Promising reviews: "Dog loves this. Didn’t take long to master the toy, but it still provides entertainment." —MJF "Love it. Easy to clean and the dogs play with it for hours." —Maria zettlemoyer Get it from Amazon for $8.99+ (available in two styles). Promising review: "Fun little brain teaser for dogs. Entertaining for you and them. Love that it offers different ways to access the food, unlike most puzzle dog toys. My dogs love it." —Sarah Get it from Amazon for $9.38+ (available in three difficulty levels and seven designs/styles). Promising review: "This product is a great toy for my very active 6-month-old puppy. It is of very good quality because he tears up his other toys. It goes for hours, giving me a much-needed break from a bored puppy." —Wanda Promising review: "This ball will last a lifetime, and if it doesn't, I will have to purchase another one because my dog just loves his Jolly Ball. It's very durable and chew-proof. He is an aggressive chewer, and this ball has managed to stay intact. It's light enough to pick up and throw, but hard enough so your dog cannot sink his/her teeth into it. This ball is a great way to give your dog exercise, and you don't have to do much, but stay out of the way. My dog pushes this ball all over the yard. Great purchase!!" —LK Get it from Amazon for $12.99+ (available in six sizes and two colors). Promising review: "I have bought three of these for different dogs in my daughter's family. All three dogs are aggressive chewers, and this toy, although not completely indestructible, lasted months longer than their other toys." —D Atkinson Get it from Amazon for $14.57+ (available in three sizes). Promising review: "My parents adopted a sweet lab mix puppy recently, and I am already spoiling her. (I mean, just look at that face!) Did she absolutely need an avocado toast toy? No. But could I pass it up when I saw it at a local shop? Absolutely not. I think she gives it a stamp of approval, as well. The avocado slices crinkle, and the toast has a squeaker inside, so it really does keep her occupied for a while. Plus, it costs less than the average avocado toast on any menu in NYC." —Abby Kass, Former BuzzFeeder Get it on Amazon for $12.50+ (available in two sizes, plus four other brunch items and a brunch set). Promising review: "My little dog loves this dog puzzle! He has very high energy, and even with two 30-minute walks every day, he can play for hours. We have several types of dog puzzles, and this one is definitely a favorite. I hide several small treats in the mat to engage him for 10+ minutes. Out of all the puzzles, this was the easiest for him to pick up on, but he has yet to get bored with it. He knows when I bring it out, it means treats!" —Jessica Get it from Amazon for $11.98+ (available in seven styles). Promising reviews: "Love these Goughnuts extreme toys. Best and most durable toys on the market for aggressive chewers!" —Daniel A Lipperini Jr "I have a pitbull mix, and she's under 2 years old. She loves to chew on this, and trust me, this has lasted longer than any other toy I've bought! The figure eight allows for a tug-of-war with her, and she comes up to me to play with the toy. Soooooo cute!" —Ok Get it from Amazon for $27.68+ (available in two sizes and six styles/colors). Promising reviews: "Exciting and challenging. This toy really engaged and entertained our dogs, one is 44 pounds, and the other is 65 pounds. They loved the squeak. The 65-pound one destroyed it and had the inner toy in 30–45 minutes, the other can't open it but loves it as is." —Chuck Hepburn "My dog loved it. Kept her busy for hours." —Clare L Marton Von Vogt Get it on Amazon for $12+ (available in small and large sizes, in various styles, and as a two-pack). The color you receive will be randomly selected at the time of delivery. Promising review: "Keeps my larger dogs occupied for hours. My dog that doesn't enjoy tennis balls, really enjoys this toy. I was a little shocked at first. This squeaks when they bite down on it. Easily my dog's favorite toy." —Brown Get it from Amazon for $16.96+ (available in two sizes). Promising review: "This toy is very durable. We’ve had it for about two months, and it’s still completely intact. Every single toy is ruined within minutes. But this one is winning the battle. And it keeps her entertained for a good while! It’s a must-buy!" —Hector Flores Get it from Amazon for $13.99+ (available in four sizes and two versions). Promising reviews: "Best cat toy. My cat absolutely loves this fish. Well worth the price to keep my cat entertained." —Joanne "I bought two for my Frenchie and Chihuahua, they both stay entertained for a good while tossing and chewing on the little trout. The charge usually lasts about a week on a single charge." —Chef Raul Alberto Dominguez Get it from Amazon for $9.98 (available in two styles). Promising review: "My dog has yet to figure out how to destroy this toy. Few times can I say that about my agressive chewer." —RR Promising review: "Our Shih Tzu may be considered small, but is a very aggressive chewer. He has chewed, shaken, and tugged on this for nine months now, and it remains undamaged. One of his favorite toys." —Geri Marple Get it from Amazon for $19.05+ (available in 10 colors/styles). Promising reviews: "I had grown weary of watching $15 toys be destroyed within a couple of hours by my year-old pit. I decided to try this simply because of its low cost, as I didn't feel I could trust the description's claim to be indestructible, since other brands touted the same, inaccurate claim. BUT...This bone has endured hours and hours of nonstop gnawing, and, aside from being roughed up, it has held up. I am so amazed and excited about this find that I am buying two more... one for outside and one for my son's dog. This is a win-win!" —K Family "I bought this bone over a year ago, and it’s still going strong, and my dog is quite the chewer. He loves the flavor, and I love how long-lasting it is. The only criticism I can give is that sometimes the plastic pieces stick to blankets or socks, but I think that is worth it for how entertained my boy is by it. I’m confident in saying that this bone will be around for a long time." —Alana Get it from Amazon for $10.98+ (available in four sizes and three flavors). My dog is very particular about the toys he likes to play with. He's been attached to his Snuggle Puppy since he was a puppy; he enjoys tennis balls, and he LOVES socks (not a toy, but he thinks they are); every other adorable dog toy we have bought for him just sits in his toy crate feeling more abandoned than Andy's toys did when he donated them in Toy Story 3 (or so I imagine). My dog is very food-motivated, so I was excited for him to try this toy, and he is a huge fan!!! I'll put a few of Zuke's mini dog treats into the toy, and he'll get to work, biting and trying to flip it over with his paws to reach them. He looks so proud of himself once he gets them. It's the cutest thing. Get it from Fable for $24 (originally $29; available in eight colors). Promising review: "My dogs love these chew toys. One in particular is a very aggressive chewer, and this one stands up better than other brands we've tried. I really like the fact that they don't lie flat on the ground. My dogs can roll them around on the wood floors and easily pick them up in their mouths themselves." —Missouri Mom Get it from Amazon for $10.88+ (available in four sizes, three flavors, and a two-pack). Promising review: "My English Mastiff (and the biggest baby ever) loves his ducky. He has ripped up other toys, but not his beloved duck. He has had it for a few months now and brings it everywhere around the house with him, even sleeps snuggled up with it. I don't know why dogs seem to love this toy so much, but I would highly recommend purchasing it." —Kristen Promising review: "I rescued a pit mix from the shelter and needed chew toys for her. She loves all three of these toys. She’s an aggressive chewer, and so far, the toys are still intact. I will definitely buy more of these products and recommend them to anyone with a medium to large dog." —Lara Get a three-pack from Amazon for $15.99+ (also available in other pack sizes and colors/styles). Promising review: "I have a Doberman who is a very aggressive chewer. He runs through chew toys, wooden blocks, hard plastic, bricks — just about anything that he can find, even pine cones, in a matter of hours. This toy shockingly lasted almost four months. I was very impressed that he didn't destroy it in 30 minutes. Oh, but beware of the black and red ornaments — they did come out annnnd of course he ate them." —Beverly Get it from Amazon for $9.99+ (available in various sizes and colors). * Things From Walmart That’ll Really Come In Handy If You Live With Two Or More Dogs * Pet Products Your Dog Will Probably Give You Puppy Dog Eyes Over, They’ll Love Them So Much * Products And Toys To Keep Your Pup Cool And Happy All Summer Long BuzzFeed Shopping is service journalism first: our writers and editors spend all day shopping so you don’t have to, vetting products, fact-checking brand claims, and surfacing what actually helps in real life.
