Here Are 3 Shows You Need To Watch This Weekend, Plus More Spot-On "Off Campus" Reactions

Another week consumed by my love for “Off Campus.” As a Senior Talent Booker and Producer at BuzzFeed, you can typically catch me flailing about the buzziest TV shows and movies. If you saw the clip of Hannah Einbinder at a Hacks event this week, where she started weeping and fell to the floor at the mere mention of the series finale, that’s basically how I’m feeling about this truly remarkable piece of television coming to an end. I’m not ready to say goodbye, but I'm also so happy this show got to tell the exact story it wanted to tell over five seasons. If you haven’t watched any of the final season yet, Deborah Vance (Jean Smart) and Ava (Einbinder) are picking up the pieces after their stint on late-night. With Deborah banned from performing standup until her contract expires, they are doing everything else to stay relevant as they try to secure Deborah’s biggest show yet: a standup set at Madison Square Garden in NYC. As usual, this season has not skipped a beat, as it continues to prove why it’s the best comedy series on TV right now. The biggest loss of Hacks ending? Losing Jean, Hannah, and this entire ensemble working together as these characters. I will miss you so much, Hacks. Streaming on Apple TV; new episodes every Wednesday As a die-hard fan of Brothers & Sisters and The Americans, it’s safe to say that if Matthew Rhys is in a TV show, it’s an immediate must-watch for me. So, it’s no surprise that I am devouring and entranced by Widow’s Bay, his new show on Apple TV. Created by Katie Dippold, the series tells the story of the quaint town of Widow's Bay, which is nestled 40 miles off the coast of New England. While it seems picture-perfect on paper, not everything is what it seems. Mayor Tom Loftis (Rhys) is desperate to revive his struggling town. But, he must contend with a community that is stuck in the past and a superstition that the island is cursed. When tourists start coming to visit, Tom thinks he's finally done it, but it turns out the locals were right, and after decades of calm, old stories begin to resurface. As you can imagine, Matthew is phenomenal in this, and likely on his way to another Emmy nomination at the very least, but it’s also the ensemble cast he’s surrounded with that helps make this spooky and funny show great. Kate O’Flynn as Patricia is a particular favorite of mine. One of the most underrated (and best) comedy series from last year, Deli Boys, returns with its second season. In case you don’t know, Deli Boys follows Mir (Asif Ali) and Raj (Saagar Shaikh), who are thrust into the center of their father's drug empire following his death. The catch? They had no idea it even existed. Add in a standout performance by Poorna Jagannathan as Lucky, and you've got a show that will have you laughing hysterically one minute and then genuinely gasping the next. Genuinely, I cannot stress enough how great this cast is together. Deli Boys is filled with some of TV's best comedic moments, so I highly recommend watching Season 1 now, so you can watch the new season ASAP. With Season 2, even more hilarious chaos ensues as Mir and Raj find out that it’s true what they say: More money really does mean more problems. I am an avid Letterboxd user, so when I was looking at my stats over the years, as one does LOL, I noticed my highest rated decade is the 1960s. So, it got me thinking about the best movies of this decade. For me, it’s hard to narrow it down to just one, so I’ll give my top five. 4. Breakfast at Tiffany’s (or really any Audrey movie from this decade!!!) These movies are some of my favorite movies of all time. I mean, how can you not GUSH over Julie Andrews in both The Sound of Music and Mary Poppins? Plus, it was such a massive decade for Audrey Hepburn, who is one of my favorite actors of all time, from Breakfast at Tiffany's to My Fair Lady to Charade. I just love how magical all these '60s movies are, so I guess I do understand why it’s my favorite movie decade.
