It’s *your* day, mama — why not pick yourself out something nice?

As a shopping editor with over a decade of experience working in journalism and digital media, I cover everything from beauty and fashion to home, travel, gaming, and pets, and I'm constantly saving interesting products on TikTok (in *very* organized folders, mind you) to share with BuzzFeed readers.

Mother's Day is upon us once more, and for all of you moms out there, I hope that the day brings you whatever you desire: the chance to sleep in, breakfast in bed, some peace and quiet, and maybe even a thoughtful present from your family. But, let's be real...no one knows you better than you know yourself, and sometimes, the best Mother's Day gifts are the ones *you* pick out. So whether you're looking for a little treat or have the itch to splurge, this list has a gift with your name on it.

This kit includes six sunflowers in various stages of life: one bud, three that are just beginning to bloom, and two big, fully opened flowers to give your bouquet a varied, realistic vibe. And of course, these would look gorgeous mixed into any other Lego bouquets you might already have!

Promising review: "Purchased as an alternative because my cat destroys my plants and WOW they’re so cute! (And fun to build)." —Mnb

Promising review: "I'm not one to write reviews; however, this small cooler/lunch box deserves one. This small cooler is totally worth paying the extra money. I filled it up with sushi rolls for a concert, and it stayed very cold for over 10 hours. The cold packs I placed inside were still frozen after all that time! It is also roomy, a nice soft material, and very stylish, and the shoulder strap option makes it more functional. I love it!" —Leticia Hampton

Though I haven't tried this sleep set yet, I have a silk robe from Lunya that my sister-in-law got me years ago and it's hands-down the most luxurious thing I own. It's true 100% silk (like these PJs) and has the most incredible buttery soft texture to it — so I can only imagine what it'd feel like to fall asleep in one of their silk sets. Psst — you can check out more of their washable silk styles if you prefer a long-sleeve set, for instance.

Promising reviews: "My husband got this for me for our anniversary. I've worn it almost every night for bed since. Feels like a second skin in the best way. I was nervous to wash it but it was perfectly fine!" —Cortney W.

"My first set and it won’t be the last! Light, buttery, breathable, luxurious — resort-wear in your own home. Definitely elevates your morning cup of coffee!" —Rosalinda K.

Promising review: "I use this daily before my moisturizer and it resolved my dry and oily issue. Flaky skin mid-day is gone. Wearing makeup at age 46 is getting tougher; now it doesn’t crease anymore. No longer need serums for my skin — just this mist, moisturizer, and sunscreen and I'm good to go! Skin is glowy and radiant! Ordered my second bottle although my first one is still halfway through. LOVE IT!" —Gustavo

Promising review: "I have never seen a more beautiful blanket in my life. The images of the red roses crochet blanket looked exactly like an actual blanket — it was warm, high quality, and cost way less than others of the same size. Not to mention, a majority of the other crochet roses I looked at looked like rolled-up socks to me, while the roses on this blanket were detailed with little crochet leaves. Even the packaging it came in was elegant. Recently bought a second one for my mother." —Jones

Promising review: "What a beautiful, durable travel bowl! I love being able to take my food with me. This bowl works well for salads and cold mixes. It works equally well for soups, noodles, and hot dishes. The seals are good. The interior shelf can be used as is, or removed for more overall capacity. I don't use the community fridge (it's gross), so this stays in my bag. It keeps my food warm or cold for the few hours needed. I get compliments on it all the time. Go for it!" —Lmaxx

Promising reviews: "Like a cloud. ☁️ These are the most comfortable shoes I have worn; it feels like a pillow hugging your foot. The same day they were delivered, I ordered another pair in a different color. I’m a healthcare worker, and these are perfect for standing and being on your feet a lot. Walking feels very smooth and low-impact. I never leave reviews on anything, but these are amazing." —Ian Durham

"As someone who owns a pair of Hokas, in my opinion, these are better. I have plantar fasciitis and work in a hospital. Believe me when I say this, I HAVE ZERO FOOT PAIN when I'm wearing these! For half the price and comfort, I will 100% recommend these to anyone." —Jennifer Emilien

It takes about ~20 hours total to assemble and finish, so this is a cool long-term project you can tinker with after the kids are in bed, or anytime you have the house to yourself. When you're all done, you'll have a gorgeous and detailed piece of decor that'd look lovely on a shelf, so you get to enjoy it long after you've put your finishing touches on it.

Psst — I've done a similar mini bookstore build, and it was genuinely so fun to put together! I loved being able to focus in and do something with my hands (great for my anxious brain), and it now looks gorgeous nestled on my actual bookshelf.

Promising review: "This model has been such an enjoyable build. As of now, I am not completely finished. Having put around 20 hours into it, I'd say I have another eight hours more to go. The pieces are all vibrantly pre-painted, with the exception of one large base piece. The glue and tweezers it comes with are perfect for the job. The cloth I had gotten for the couch was not large enough, but I improvised by using another color cloth (that also came with the kit) for the seat. The attention to detail in this little study kit is just first-class. I even recognized books that I have read/purchased in the past within this model! I am not experienced at all with building wooden kits, and I was still able to do this one perfectly with minimal struggle. I will certainly be buying more Robotime models in the near future, the greenhouse one is next :)!" —B.R.J.G.

I'm a busy mom, so doing any kind of full-on journaling is just not an option for me, but this little book is the perfect approach for someone who enjoys the idea of documenting life but is so busy living it that they can't spend a lot of time! I love the design of the book, very beautifully done, and I especially love that the pages are on the thicker side. Not cheaply made at all. This has eight deep-kneading nodes with three speed strengths and optional heat! As shown above, you can loop your arms through to hold it in place and even do other things like typing on a computer.

Promising review: "My pic [above, left] says it alI, so helpful. I already had a back shiatsu massager for years, but could not reach the areas around my shoulder blades and my neck, and for my nanny work, I get so achy. This thing was all I needed. I only expected the knobs and the heat, but you can attach it on you and do computer work as well as driving; it has an attachment to get the power in your car... LOVE LOVE this thing. I was in severe pain and tried everything. This was my missing link, lol. Feels like a human massage but you can control it." —Marinchich

BuzzFeed Shopping writer Emma Lord says, "I'm a long-ish distance runner, and these were certainly an interesting experience for my feet! You slide them on and, after a few minutes, feel a tingling, mildly burning (in a good way) sensation. It doesn't quite numb your feet, but it relaxes them. I kept them on for 30 minutes and then toweled my feet off, and the tingling sensation slowly faded over the next 30 minutes. After that, my feet felt very refreshed and relaxed at a time of day when they're usually aching from all the miles I put in. The whole thing was a mess-free, easy process, and I will definitely keep them on hand for longer run days!"

Promising review: "Very soothing. My husband and l used these on our European vacation, and they definitely felt good on our feet!" —KS2018

I have a very similar Lululemon yoga mat that I absolutely love! I use it for all of my indoor workouts, including mat pilates. It's far more comfortable than performing moves directly on carpet (and certainly hard floors) and offers really nice padding for your knees and hands when you're down there doing a cat-cow pose. Its rubber base keeps it from slipping around too. It's super easy to clean with just a damp rag after a particularly sweaty session and dries fairly fast, after which point you can just roll it up and stash it in a corner or closet. Aside from its functionality, I adore how pretty it is, especially the colorful pastel swirl designs.

This allows me to practice on the go, at home, in the bath, in bed — it’s perfect!! Super practical, like having a metronome but for your breath. He's able to turn it on, run into the next room to save the day with a plastic bag and a washcloth for whatever blowout-esque mess I'm dealing with, forget he's cooking, run back into the kitchen frantically when he remembers, and arrive only to find the meal practically cooking itself. Promising review: "Awesome addition to my workspace environment. I've tried several fountains so far. This one is awesome, the pump is quiet, as is the water, it simply provides a really nice environmental impact on my workspace. I run it up to eight hours in a day, use distilled water only and clean it periodically, and it's running just like new after several weeks. Not all of the fountains that I've tried work quite so well, I'm impressed and happy with this purchase. Six-month update: If I could give this thing 6 stars, I would. It runs so quiet, and I nearly let it go dry last weekend *(three-day weekend and forgot to turn it off...) — once I filled it up again it was just as quiet as ever. I'm beyond impressed. Still cleaning it periodically and using only distilled water." —Rod_CdA

BuzzFeed Shopping contributor Rachelle Yang swears by this lip balm: "I refuse to be without it, I'm not even exaggerating. Whenever I realized I've left my apartment without it, I go back and get it — it's that good. My favorite thing about this lip balm is the metal applicator. I've never seen anything like it! It's cooling to the touch and goes on so smooth without leaving any residue behind. As a lip product connoisseur, this is by far my favorite because not only does it leaves my lips hydrated as heck but it also adds a tint of color so I don't need to go over it with lipstick or a colored gloss!"

Promising review: "I wanted to gatekeep. I don’t usually write reviews but this product really deserves one. It keeps my lips hydrated for hours, and I literally mean hours. It seems everything else falls short. It’s amazing to use in the winter months and I even was able to eat dinner with it on and didn’t even need to reapply. I can’t recommend a better lip product for soft moisturized lips! You won’t regret buying this!" —Becki Smith

Promising review: "This stuff is amazing. I keep finding things to put it on. It definitely has a kick but you get used to it after a few times. I’ve used it on veggies (acorn squash was awesome), steak, salmon, and chicken nuggets that I stole from my kids. All awesome. The only thing it didn’t go great on was tacos. But you win some, you lose some. The sweetness of the honey just didn’t have a place on tacos. Love this stuff, though." —DadOfThree

I have a ton of polishes from Mooncat at this point (shoutout to my partner for putting them in my stocking every Christmas) and I'm absolutely obsessed with their glittery, mesmerizing shades, which really pop under sunlight. They also have some fun collections — like an Avatar: The Last Airbender collection with some truly ethereal shades.

Promising review: "I received my first one in the mail. It was so easy and smooth going on. Two coats later, AMAZING, vibrant, beautiful color. The way the light dances off of my nails, the sun shining off the polish, the prismatic guess have me mesmerized. Yep, I picked two more colors a week later. My daughter is now hooked as well. This is a very specific frame of reference, but I'll share it anyway: This candle smells exactly like the wood-stoked sauna at Bathhouse in NYC — a smell my partner and I are both *obsessed* with, to the point that we went hunting for a candle that replicated it. This woodsy, earthy aroma literally transports me back to that sauna every time I light it, and the serene scent is perfect for creating a calm, meditative moment. Despite the premium price tag, this is a candle I'll keep rebuying, and I don't say that about many candles that retail for $40+. I think it'd be the perfect treat this Mother's Day — though check out the rest of Boy Smells' collection if you prefer floral or gourmand scents, for instance.

It includes a halogen warming bulb, and even has a dimmer so you can adjust it to your desired brightness level.

Promising review: "This little lamp is such a gem! It’s gorgeous even when it’s off, thanks to its adorable flower-shaped lampshade that fills the room with the softest, coziest glow. It heats up wax pretty fast, and I was genuinely impressed by how much fragrance it pulls from my candles (especially my beloved Bath & Body Works 3-wicks!). It’s got a timer, a dimmer, and it even came with an extra bulb. It’s a standard plug (not USB), and while I wish the cord was just a tad longer, it’s still an amazing buy. Plus, I can finally relax knowing there's less soot and less risk of fire. Total win!" —xti

Promising review: "I was just looking at these pillows again in case I had to purchase new ones. I originally purchased them two years ago. They are the most wonderful and comfy pillows I've ever had. When I read the reviews saying they washed up badly, I was ready to buy new ones. Lo and behold, I washed them and dried them in the dryer, and they turned out great. I just have the older type stackable washer and dryer set, not large, just regular-sized. I put both pillows in the washer on gentle, then put both pillows in the dryer. I ran the dryer on medium heat and ran the cycle several times, just to make sure. I'm happy they turned out so well 'cause I love these pillows!" —T. Rune

Nintendo's next-gen Switch has the same basic gameplay options as the original — it can be played handheld *or* docked and connected to a TV, plus a kickstand for table play — but majorly improves upon the design with a bigger screen, better graphics, and improved performance.

My partner and all my friends surprised me with a Switch 2 for my birthday recently (🥺), and it really is a fantastic upgrade — the smooth, matte finish makes it a delight to hold, and the screen is bigger and brighter than before. And if you do decide to treat yourself to a Switch 2 (or already own one), then I also can't recommend Pokémon Pokopia enough. I was skeptical; I didn't really "get it" from the trailers and wasn't sure if I'd be into it at all. But it. is. INCREDIBLE. The world is massive, the dialogue is unhinged in the best way, and the gameplay loop is just plain fun. It's the type of game you won't want to put down, and when you inevitably have to, you'll be thinking about it until the next time you get the chance to boot it back up.

I hope this adds to that, and in the whole one hour I've had it, I believe it's doing the job." —Alex Olsen

Indulgence Spa is a Maryland-based, Black woman-owned Etsy shop established in 2015 that specializes in soaps, hair care, and body products.

Emma says, "I started using this in the Three Wishes Tea flavor (a combo of tea leaves, peaches, rosebuds, and marigolds) and the smell alone is swoon-worthy, but I love love love how it feels in the shower. It has a satisfying creamy whipped texture, but suds up when you use it so you get that nice satisfying squeaky clean feeling, too. It's lasting a long time, too (which is great, but means I have to wait a little longer to try the other flavors 😂)."

BuzzFeed Shopping is service journalism first: Our writers and editors spend all day shopping so you don’t have to, vetting products, fact-checking brand claims, and surfacing what actually helps in real life. We center readers over revenue, recommend products with authenticity (using real experiences, not ad-speak), and reflect our diverse audience, inclusive of a variety of price points, people, and needs. We cut through fake deals, favor useful info over glossy fluff, and recommend both budget and splurge options with context so you can decide what’s right for you — and still have a little fun along the way.
