“Late Show” host Stephen Colbert said the effort to negotiate an end to the war with Iran hasn’t gotten very far, causing President Donald Trump to extend the ceasefire.

But Trump denied feeling any “pressure.”

“I read the Fake News saying that I am under ‘pressure’ to make a deal,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “THIS IS NOT TRUE! I am under no pressure whatsoever, although, it will all happen, relatively quickly! Time is not my adversary.”

“Oh yeah?” Colbert shot back. “Have you taken a gander at your ankles lately?”

With that, Colbert showed his audience a photo of the president’s swollen ankle taken last year:

“It’s never a good sign when your shoes have a muffin top,” Colbert cracked.

The White House has said that Trump suffers from chronic venous insufficiency, which involves poor blood flow from the legs back to the heart. That, in turn, leads to the swelling around the feet and ankles often seen in photos of the president.
