CNN chief data analyst Harry Enten said American voters are souring on Vice President JD Vance more than one year into his term. “JD Vance is not doing too hot to trot at this point,” Enten said as he showed off his latest polling aggregate. Vance, who came into office in January 2025 with a net approval rating of +3 points, is now 18 points underwater. “That is a 21-point swing in the wrong direction,” Enten said. “Down he goes! JD Vance getting dragged down along with the president of the United States.” The bad news for Vance doesn’t end there. As Enten pointed out, his numbers are even worse when compared to those of his predecessors. “We can say JD Vance is historically the least popular vice president at this point in their vice presidency,” he said.
