Impossible Foods Just Launched A Plant-Based Menu At Madison Square Garden In NYC
Images
This goes out to all the vegetarians and vegans out there who have had to survive on arena popcorn. I'm Claudia, an NYC-based editor on the Tasty team covering all things food, whether it's a viral recipe, the latest food drama, or politicians awkwardly standing in a Steak 'N Shake. These whimsically large bags haunt my nightmares. A tried-and-true classic that has never let this pescatarian down. This smashburger is loaded up with two quarter-pound Impossible patties, lettuce, tomato, pickles, Rafters Sauce, and your choice of plant-based American or cheddar cheese. Everything is sandwiched between not two, but three sesame seed buns. Told ya it's not a soggy portobello burger. Sad venue glizzy? We don't know her. This Impossible® Beef Hot Dog takes things up a notch with all the bahn mi fixin's, including plant-based dijonnaise, pickled daikon, carrot, jalapeño, Persian cucumber, cilantro, Thai basil, and toasted sesame seeds. Chili orange-glazed Impossible Chicken and mixed vegetables are piled atop a bed of jasmine rice to recreate this comfort classic. Definitely an elevated option if you've had enough burgers and dogs. Now that I think about it, I've never seen quesadillas offered as a venue food option, and I'm beginning to question why. This one's got Impossible® Steak Bites, peppers, onions, plant-based mozzarella, pico de gallo, and chipotle mayo in a flour tortilla, served with plant-based sour cream. Sorry, pizza, there's a new triangular hand-held food in town. The number of times I've had to call venue fries with ketchup my dinner is criminal. Well, not anymore, because these loaded chopped cheese fries truly are a whole meal. Topped with seasoned Impossible® Beef, onions, plant-based cheddar cheese, pico de gallo, pickled jalapeños, and Rafters Sauce, your meat-eater friends might even get a little jealous.
