There's a Little Tykes outfit in this post that I love so much, I want it in adult sizes. Someone tell me who to call to make that happen.

Getting the right gift for new parents can feel daunting — from nursery gliders to sleep lamps to subscription boxes for kids, there are hundreds of new baby products hitting the scene every dang day. My fellow parenting coworkers and I gossip and gab about our favorite finds on the daily. And I'm excited to have you join in while I show you some favorite finds! Whether you're looking for something practical or practically too cute to pass up, new parents are sure to use these gifts the moment they open them up.

Between all the spit-up and diaper changes in their future, you know there's always room for one more onesie in a new parent's home. More important than both of those things? The baby photos. This darling pajama set has their kid covered, literally. It's made from super soft organic stretch French Terry. 95% organic cotton and 5% recycled lycra. It's also so cute, with the ride-on car and racing details, they won't be able to help turning every night into a photo shoot.

Young Days is a brand worth teaching parents about early on, as their one-of-a-kind clothes are durable and made to last from kid to kid. My daughter has several pieces from this set, because nothing gets me like some good old '90s nostalgia. She goes to a school where getting messy in mud, paint, and paste is the rule — not the exception. These clothes handle that without breaking a sweat! Young Days is my personal go-to when getting gifts for the babies and kids in my extended family.

Promising review: "Super cute print, very soft material, and well made. Adorable." —Lauren P.

If you're trying to help new parents find what staple snacks to add to their pantry, you can't top these smoothie bites! I'm also an Amara Mom* (a new cool name I've just named us), and I love them. When my daughter was a baby, I got these as a gift, and I think the peace of mind was the *real* present. I was so worried about her choking as she learned how to eat solid foods. I also didn't want her craving sugar all the time. These solved both worries. She loves them just as much today as she did when she first started eating solids. It's so hard to pack snacks for my daughter when allergens are a big worry at daycare — it's super nice to have a go-to treat I feel good about that's free of many common food allergens. Tell the folks you give these to that they'd better get ready to get attached — this is a lifelong snack!

Promising review: "These are a huge hit in our house! The texture is perfect for little ones — they melt quickly and are easy to eat with no choking worries. I love that they’re made with simple, organic ingredients and no added sugar, so I feel good giving them as a snack. The flavors actually taste like real fruit and veggies, not overly sweet or artificial. They’re great for on the go, they're mess free, and the resealable bag keeps them fresh. My toddler gets so excited every time I open a pack! Definitely a clean, convenient snack I’ll keep repurchasing." —Way Native

Get them from Amazon for $24.25+ (available in five flavors).

This small biz product is made with a silly (and problem-solving!) design that'll seem surprisingly perfect when you try it out. The long, curved shape helps babies reach farther back, soothing more surface space than traditional teethers. The "suction cups" have just the right texture to massage sore gums, and the tentacle itself is hollow, making it lightweight and easy for a child to hold on their own, but it can also be worn on your finger, which is just plain fun.

This is suitable for infants 0–24 months and is BPA-free, heavy metal-free, lead-free, phthalate-free, and plastic-free.

Promising review: "I’ve tried ALL the teethers, believe me. This one truly stands out. I love how easy it is for my baby to hold it himself. I also love how I can put it on my finger and make it a fun activity for us to share together. He really gets going on the individual tentacle suckers; they definitely seem more satisfying for his little gums than others we’ve tried. Love love this product, thank you!" —Quinn

These were made for parents who, like me, want *useful* baby products that are also easy on the eyes. I 100% bought these because I thought they were pretty. Turns out, they're also *really* good! We tried several types of bottles when our daughter was born, and these were far and away her favorite! It was wild to see how much she preferred them. As she became able to hold a bottle on her own, we found that the plastic holes and silicone interior made them really easy for her to grab.

These are made with food-grade silicone and are BPA-free.

Promising review: "I decided to try these bottles because I was looking for a new brand of silicone bottle. These are easy to clean. My baby can hold them more easily than other bottles because of the unique design. The flow seems to be good for her, and they look cool. I like that the parts which come in contact with my baby’s formula and hot water are plastic-free." —Kindle Customer

This gift is sure to work as well as sugar to help the medicine go down. Not only is this far more comfortable for their baby, but the elongated nipple helps prevent them from tasting the medicine. There's nothing worse than the baby spitting up their meds without mom or dad knowing how much they actually got! This solves...so many problems.

Promising review: "This is an absolute must-have, and you should order it before you’re desperately wrestling medicine into your baby’s mouth and wishing you did. My daughter wouldn’t even take a pacifier, and this still made giving her medicine 100x easier. The different components detach easily for cleaning, and the syringe is a standard size, so it’s compatible with most bottles. If/when your kid outsmarts or outgrows the pacifier part of it, the syringe is still functional and nice to have on hand." —JH

This'll be a go-to item every day of their baby's swaddling stage, and (if their family is anything like mine) they'll find *many* more uses after that! I've used swaddles as burp bibs, stroller shades, picnic blankets, pillow forts, nursing covers... you name it. The light fabric is made from 100% organic cotton. The muslin is pre-washed to be soft on baby's skin immediately after opening. The large size makes for a delightfully versatile baby gift. And it's a Mushie product, so you know their kid is gonna have the best-looking swaddle on the street.

Promising review: "This is such a great brand at a great price point! You definitely get premium quality at an affordable price! This is a beautiful swaddle! The quality is amazing, and the best thing about these blankets is that they only get softer the more you wash them! They are breathable and lightweight. They are perfect as nursing covers, or to wrap baby up to stay cozy!" —Elle Bailey

This'll be a crucial part of any baby's bath time routine. Making sure the water is a safe temperature *also* keeps their body temp in the safe zone. Plus, this guarantees their kiddo is comfortable while they splash around and learning what water is. At our house, this little seal is named Lou (a nod to all the other Arrested Development fans out there), and it's a beloved member of our family. We've had this since before the baby was born, and you better believe I tested it out ahead of time. I love burning hot baths, so I knew I was no judge of safe water temperatures. This reads really clearly (blinking blue if it is too cold and red if it is too hot) and fast. We are a less-is-more toy family, so my daughter loves having a cute toy to play with, and I love that it doubles as a useful tool. Cheers all around.

Promising review: "I absolutely love this thing. All you have to do is throw it in the water, and it starts to read the temp. No need to turn it on and off. It blinks red whenever the temperature is considered too high, which I love because whenever I’m getting a newborn ready to get in the bath, I don’t want to have to sit and hover over it reading the temp — if it’s not blinking, I know it's within a good range. So just turn your warm water on, throw this guy in, and you’ll know instantly if it’s good to go or needs adjusting. Plus, it’s super cute!" —Madalyn Roche

Get it from Amazon for $14.89 (available in two colors).

With no parabens, sulfates, or phthalates, this can detangle their baby's bed head with something scalp-safe and nourishing. Reviewers say this spray will leave wavy or curly hair (from 2a–4c hair) shiny, soft, and bouncy. And I say, "Hey! BuzzFeed got me to buy this, too!" After featuring this for years based on great reviews, it was the first product I bought for my own child's fine, toddler curls. I spray this on brushed, damp hair, and you'd think that dreaded baby bedhead never happened! The image on the right is after an active day of playing on a static-y slide, trying on everything in a costume box, and wearing her winter hat. After all that, her curls still look lovely and tangle-free! This stuff is the good stuff.

Promising review: "My 2-year-old daughter has curly frizzy hair. And I have tried sooo many leave-in conditioners to define her hair. Nothing thus far has worked. But this stuff is amazing! Truly defines her curls without any hold or crunch. Soft bouncy curls. The smell is quite strong — but it does smell good. If you are sensitive to smells, you might want to prepare yourself ahead of time for this. I will buy this again and again. So glad I found something that works for my toddler's curls." —mike

This is great for families who want their babies and toddlers to eat a diverse range of meals that are even easier to prepare than a trip to the drive-through. Each meal is crafted to help kiddos develop a taste for nutritionally rich meals from the get-go. Plus, each type of food is split up into its own space in super cute(!!) triangular trays i.e. *not touching* because Little Spoon knows toddlers...and they know how to avoid a mealtime tantrum before it starts.

I started giving my daughter meals from Little Spoon at 9 months, and it's become my favorite recommendation for parents who are nervous about starting their babies on solid foods and for folks considering baby-led weaning. Their system is *sleep-deprived parent-proof*, with such clear information on allergens, nutrients, and age requirements that everyone can feel confident about what their kiddo is eating. I mean it sincerely when I say the worst part about these meals is that they're so good I find myself stealing bites from my child. Ahem, often. Who let me have a kid?!

Get it from Little Spoon starting at $6.49/meal (available in several meal plans).

This'll help parents instantly know what's going on with their baby in the backseat without adjusting mirrors or turning back to see what's going on (when the car is stopped, of course). Gift this and help friends stay safe on the road with their little one, while parents keep their cutie easily within sight!

Promising reviews: "This is honestly the best purchase I’ve ever made since becoming a mom. Like, hands down, my favorite product ever. This camera definitely makes life easier, and I wish I had it for my other two when they were babies. It took less than five minutes to get it up and running, and they included everything I needed. I have a Dodge Grand Caravan, and it reaches all the way to the third row. I recommend it to all my mom friends!" —Kristin Morgan

Get it from Amazon for $25.99+ (also available with a USB).

This'll convert from a swaddle sleep sack — with their arms tucked in — and adjust to a toddler-friendly sleep sack once their baby is old enough to roll over. The design'll keep baby safe, snug, and (thanks to clear TOG *thermal overall grade* ratings) the right temperature all night long! This has a 1.0 TOG rating, making it ideal for room temperatures between 70 and 75 degrees Fahrenheit. Knowing what temperature their child's sleep sack is made for can help kiddos sleep longer (by not waking up from being too cold) and prevent overheating or the need for extra blankets, which can be a suffocation risk. Be sure to check out the ergoPouch landing page so you can see the different styles and TOG ratings for each item (the higher the number, the warmer the material).

For ages, this was my daughter's version of a beloved baby doll. She *loved* it and wore it every single night and for most of her naps. Until she turned two, if she wasn't in this, she slept far, far less. I loved how easily she could move comfortably in it, and it was a cinch to keep on during a nighttime diaper change.

Promising review: "We tried several big-name brands and had to return everything except for these. They fit him perfectly and safely (they're tighter around the neck, so they won't bunch up over his face). The sleeves snap open so his arms can be free — we keep the house around 70 degrees, and he sleeps comfortably in his pouch and a long-sleeve onesie. Expensive but completely worth it. We ended up buying several." —Megan F.

Get it from Amazon for $49.95 (available in three sizes, 10 colors, and three TOG levels).

This is a splurge-worthy accessory for the little tyke you love. These frames are durable enough for bending, twisting, and stepping on (which they inevitably will be when owned by a baby or toddler) and boast UV400 lenses for keeping kiddos' eyes *super* safe in the sun!

Promising review: "These are so comfortable for kids. Aside from the fact that my daughter loves the color and iridescent lenses, I love the material. They’re not hard, and they offer real sun protection." —Jessica Lea Phillips

This tiny light is sure to be the night nurse your friends had hoped and dreamed of. This'll help them find their baby's favorite way to sleep with stories, songs, and several white noise *and* light selections. Both light and sound are adjustable from the app on their phone, so there's no need to disturb their little dreamer when they want to change the settings. And speaking of the connected app, it includes 24/7 sleep guidance and predicted sleep schedules catered to their kiddo, which is a real gift to new parents who aren't sure what to expect.

Promising review: "This is an infant sleep miracle product! We’ve used it every day for a few months now, and it’s one of the few baby purchases I’d recommend as a MUST for a newborn. The white noise and night-light combo has made bedtime feel calmer, and the app control is what really sets it apart. I really love the insights that the app provides about sleep for all stages of life. It’s helpful for a first-time parent!

The moment it won me over was the first time our baby was finally asleep, and I realized the volume was just slightly too loud. Not enough to wake them, but enough to make me worry I’d regret it later. Instead of creeping into the room and risking a creaky door, I turned it down from my couch on the app. Baby stayed asleep, and I felt like I’d pulled off a tiny miracle. Same goes for the opposite, if we’re watching a loud movie and don’t want to wake up our baby. The sound quality is excellent, the light is perfect for middle-of-the-night feeds without blasting the whole room, and the scheduling feature makes it easy to keep a consistent routine. It’s not the cheapest sound machine, but after four months of daily use, it’s been reliable and completely worth it." —Joseph

Parents are going to massively appreciate a big ol' stack of diapers...they'll be going through plenty of them! And Hello Bello makes for the most fun gifting version, as they have so many different adorable styles! Their baby is about to be in diapers 24/7...gift them some that are worthy of the most fashionable grown-up in their life (YOU).

Here's what BuzzFeed editor Heather Braga has to say about these diapers: "I've been lucky enough to receive *a lot* of diaper samples since having my son, Noah. He's nearly four now and out of diapers, but my daughter is still in 'em. Safe to say I've tried quite a few. Anyway, over the years, I've used Hello Bello tons of times — especially around the holidays because they have the cutest themed diapers! However, I'd be remiss to say the best part is that the Hello Bello diapers actually do what they're supposed to — hold in pee and poop! While I appreciate the adorable themes and patterns Hello Bello offers, I was happiest when I didn't have to change my baby's outfit five times a day because of pee gone awry. I'm even happier to report that there was one day my son pooped A LOOOOOT (how does so much come out of such a tiny body????) and there were absolutely no leaks through the diaper — not a single blowout has happened. At the end of the day, that's what really matters."

Promising review: "Easy to use, love to gift these to my new mama friends. Hello Bello is my absolute favorite baby brand. Their diapers are affordable but feel luxurious!" —alexissnoellexo_2789

Get a 1-month gift subscription from Hello Bello for $89.99.

This is a slam-dunk practical gift for new parents. The full set includes a pouring cup, a spout cover, and a two-piece starter basin. All products are made with nontoxic plastic. The basin has a foam backrest and a small cupped seat for newborns and infants. Once their child has grown out of it, the top can be removed, and the base becomes an open area for their toddler to bathe in.

This set is an essential part of our bath time routine! The cup has a soft, silicone top that makes it easy to pour water over my daughter's hair without it getting on her face. My daughter grew out of the top tub at around 11 months, and the bottom basin has been a great transition without filling up an entire tub when she got a little bigger.

Promising review: "First time mom here, and I have been looking for a nice quality tub for my newborn baby. This one didn’t disappoint. Good quality, great size, easy to clean, and I LOVE the style compared to the others out there. My baby is so safe and comfortable in it." —Berna

This diaper bag in disguise comes complete with waterproof pockets and a wipeable surface. Plus, there's so much space inside, they're sure to know they've got everything they need in one (chic) spot. My family takes this with us on every vacation, and I can't imagine parenthood without it! It fits *way* more than it should, while staying comfortable on my back or easily resting on the top of our carry-on luggage. We've personally put this thing through hell and back (JFK airport and a six-hour flight with a baby — many times), and it's held up so well it still looks new. We pack this thing with every snack we can manage, plus all the entertainment our kiddo could need on a plane *and* a massive pack of diapers and wipes. If you can picture trying to bend over and dig through a diaper bag to *quickly* grab your crying toddler's KPop Demon Hunters blanket while crammed into economy seats, you'll get why having a wide, sleek interior (which makes things way easier to pull out) and several open inner pockets is a big win.

Promising review: "Absolutely love the Monaco Diaper Bag! This Pearl white color is perfection! It is very spacious and looks so fashionable! I wear it out when I don’t have kids with me! I love the fact that it doesn’t look like an actual diaper bag from the outside! Thank you for such a wonderful product!" —Aleana M.

This is ideal for families with babies, toddlers, and/or little kids who love pillow forts with a passion. I can personally say this is THE product to keep kids entertained indoors. The sturdy cushions transform from a sofa into...whatever folks come up with! At my house, we've made mountains, houses, tables, karaoke stages, airplanes, stuffed-animal corals, and SO much more. If my toddler hadn't had her Kiddie Couch this winter, she would have punched a hole in the wall just to create a foothold for something to climb on. I'm sure of it.

I really, *really* can't overstate how useful this has been in my life. I got it two years ago, while still pregnant. One tired nap on this while putting together the nursery, and I ended up spending the rest of my third trimester sleeping on a kid's play sofa. It was that comfortable. Before she could sit up on her own, we'd prop her up between these, and she'd have a blast crawling and climbing over the low pillows. Now that my daughter is old enough to play with it, it's a staple in our apartment — basically out 24/7. I have three other friends in NYC who also have this. In pint-sized apartments, where anything that takes up space has to be REALLY worth it, our families' shared love for this sofa proves just how valuable it really is.

Get it from Kiddie Couch for $299 (available in seven colors).

I'm aware that this is turning into "Mallory owns these and says you should, too" — aaand I have no problem with that. I wouldn't recommend anything unless I thought it was worth the purchase. And on that note, I also have one of these springboards! This unreasonably cute daily calendar is a great visual for families, keeping kids' schedules within eyesight so they don't get overwhelmed by surprise events and expectations. This system is a gift for A-type parents and unorganized souls alike. The illustrated tiles are kid-friendly, so they can put their activities on the board all by themselves. The intent is to discuss the day with a kiddo as they put it together — this added control helps them feel in charge of their schedule, making changes throughout the day feel less daunting.

Get it from Charmspring for $295 (available in three age ranges, four colors, and with customized tiles).

This is designed with enhanced lumbar support and a *superb* airflow-friendly design. My husband and I live in Brooklyn and took our baby everywhere in this carrier. The sizing is really customizable. Our baby slept in it easily, even on the subway. We loved that she was able to see folks face-on since she was old enough to sit forward. She's in this no matter the weather — we wore this under our coats in the winter and found it breathable in the summer. We couldn't have had such an active lifestyle in the city with our Ergobaby carrier.

Promising review: "This is breathable and sturdy. Baby finds it very comfortable and sleeps well for hours. I like the fact that it has a nice cushion to support the baby’s neck. It has different straps that can be adjusted to fit the shape and size of the user." —Arnab

This spiffy seat will grow with their kid, thanks to its design that'll transition from a rear-facing infant seat all the way to a high-back booster for kids from 40–100 pounds. They'll be thanking you for years, because this'll be a part of their family for at least a decade!

Promising review: “I have purchased three of these now. One for my car, one for my husband's, and one for his mother. They are super easy to install. It includes a bunch of sitting positions, cup holders, and it's easy to clean. I was also able to use the second seat forward-facing when my nephew came to visit — it was great to be able to have a car seat work for other kids! I'd buy it again." —Amazon Customer

This magic potion maker is practically a Keurig for baby bottles. No matter how tired parents are, they can perfectly mix formula with the proper amount of water *at the correct temperature* with the press of a button. This includes buttons to make bottles with specific ounces, but it also keeps bottle settings in place, so all they need to do is hit "start," and that drink is g2g!

Here's what BuzzFeed editor Heather Braga said about her Baby Brezza: "I've literally told every single parent or parent-to-be in my life that THIS machine is what kept me going during my kids' first years — it was the light of my life (next to them, of course). It's truly the number one item I couldn't have lived without. Literally, I would happily spend my last penny on this product because it has made that much of a difference in my life over the last few years.

The spout has to be cleaned every four bottles, which I just do with hot water and a paper towel, and the water needs to be refilled once a day (like a Keurig). Other than that, all I had to do was ensure the formula container was filled. My husband set it up like a baby bar cart in the nursery so we didn't have to stumble down our stairs to the kitchen, bleary-eyed and half asleep, in the middle of the night. It really was a godsend, and I don’t know what I’d do without it!"

Promising review: "The Baby Brezza Formula Pro Advanced has been a lifesaver! I honestly don’t know how I managed without it. It makes my life so much easier — I can prepare a perfectly mixed, warm bottle within seconds of my baby getting fussy. No more measuring, no more shaking bottles in the middle of the night, and no more worrying about clumps or temperature." —Maybry Marquez

With several different rocking and sound options (my baby's favorite was the "road trip" setting), this is here to soothe their sweetheart when parents need an extra set of hands. Place baby in the rocker within eyesight, and it's gonna be a great spot for a few minutes of baby-free laundry folding, dishwashing, eating... two arms really aren't enough. It includes a newborn insert. Oh! And another thing about the settings! They can even customize the rocking to match how they rock their child in their arms. Wild.

My husband and I really enjoyed baby carrying, so we were surprised by how much we liked this item even though we didn't use it constantly. It was mostly our go-to when cooking, where we didn't want the baby attached to us when we had something boiling on the stove or when pulling things out of the oven. She *loved* the mirror and black and white balls that hang from this. LOVED them. One of her first nicknames was "mirror baby" because of the delighted giggles she'd get when looking up at these. The range of adjustments was amazing, because she really did have favorite sounds and motions and no interest in others. After some experimenting, this became a customized soothing machine we all enjoyed.

Promising review: "This was easy to assemble. The quality is good and safe. And the connectivity of the app is good. Overall it's great." —Ashrafe Kray

If you know the new parents in your life are about to switch their Netflix nights to baby-monitor staring sessions (to make sure the kid doesn't get abducted by aliens in the night, probably), then here's your gift! This connects to an app so they can keep an eye on their little tyke wherever they are. It also has two-way communication, a night-light, plays music, and includes a motion and breathing monitor, so they'll know when the baby is awake or simply wiggling around as they dream away.

Promising review: "We’ve been using the Nanit for a little while now, and honestly, it’s been a game changer. The video is super clear (even at night), the app works great, and I love the peace of mind that comes from the breathing monitoring without having to put anything on the baby. For my firstborn I used a different camera brand + a wearable device for the breathing monitor, and having them combined in the same product is a major life improvement." —Tom

This is a tech-lover's dream baby accessory. Parents can keep this around their tiny toes at night to monitor their pulse rate and oxygen levels. If anything falls outside of the normal ranges, an alert will go off on their phone so they can wake up and check on things in an instant. This FDA-cleared device uses medical-grade monitoring — keeping an eye specifically on an infant's pulse and oxygen levels.

The box also includes four fabric socks (fitting babies 0–18 months and 5–30 pounds), a wireless charging base station, and access to the Owlet Dream App and Predictive Sleep Tech.

Promising review: "After using this for almost three months now, I absolutely love the Owlet! As a new mom who's been afraid of SIDS, as I have a family member whose baby brother passed away from SIDS before all of this technology to prevent it, I was afraid of the possibility, and this product has helped me to sleep at night. I had pre-partum and now postpartum depression, and one thing I have never worried about every single night is my baby sleeping soundly all throughout the night. I do still check on him, but I'm not panicking, trying to figure out if my baby is breathing. I love being able to see his sleep cycle and keep up with his movements! To anyone looking for a great gift for a new mom to be able to use for a long time, as well as for several children, this product is the one to go with. I feel that in this day and age, this is not a want but a need, especially for parents with anxiety!" —Alice Wood

This'll convert from a newborn-compatible high chair to a regular chair, adjusting in size for their kiddo as they grow. (It holds up to 300 pounds!) This is the high chair I use! It's easy to clean, super simple to get my toddler in and out of, and it's lightweight enough to *ahem* drag around the apartment when I want to move her somewhere else while keeping her ~trapped~ in her seat. It's also darn good lookin', which is great because I don't want eye sores in my tiny space!

Promising review: "I must say this was one of the best investments for a baby. It's absolutely worth every penny. My niece loves it — she definitely sits there longer and with great pleasure. She had another chair before, which was nice too, but larger, and she didn’t love it that much. This one is so minimalist and beautiful. All the materials are safe and pleasant. It’s easy to assemble and easy to clean. And one of the main advantages is that it helps to develop a healthy posture. I can’t describe enough how happy we are with this chair! My most sincere of recommendations!" —Christina

If you thought parenting products had hit their peak, think again! This clever invention is a godsend gift to parents who travel with children. The 18-liter storage has enough room for several items of clothing, snacks, and essentials. The design can collapse into a suitcase and open up into a stroller *while* carrying everything else in the closed container. Not only that, it's ATA cabin-approved and suitable for toddlers up to 48 pounds! The stroller itself feels premium all on its own (it even has a five-point safety harness), easily navigating through airport security *and* city streets once folks hit their destination. Their kid will be genuinely comfortable, as it reclines from 99 degrees to 126 degrees and both the backrest and seat expand as children grow. As if that wasn't enough...the *sun canopy* is water repellent, detachable, and provides UPF 50 protection. I've talked too much already, but I own this, and I think every parent should. The end.

Promising review: "This is the perfect stroller and carry-on for my kid. I've used it many times and have no complaints. It's easy to open and close, my kids' clothes fit just fine, and the best part? It fits in the overhead bin. Five stars." —Joe

It is easy to get through doors, swivel around pedestrians, and roam around uneven surfaces in the park. I can't think of a more useful product for parents in a city, or families who are often out and about. We take this with us when we grocery shop, and it's been life-changing. We've had this for over two years and have made it work hard in all weather (peep my family on the right in the impressive NYC blizzard of '26). This stroller keeps us moving!

Get it from Amazon for $699+ (available in two sizes) — check out Veer's landing page for other styles and accessories.

This is ideal for parents who are all about the latest and greatest investments in child safety. This surprisingly stunning car seat is made of carbon fiber and steel, has military-grade absorption, a machine-washable (and fire-retardant) material, and adjusts for newborns up to 6-year-olds.

This is my car seat! I was dazzled by its design, as it *looks* equal parts sleek and safe, but I became even more in love with it once I started getting the hang of the app and all the safety features the car seat provides. There were 13 registered safety patents involved in the making of this seat, so you can be confident you're getting a product that has been put to the test and that its design made some impressive steps forward in car seat safety. The app provides "forgotten child alerts" and confirms all areas are buckled safely with real-time movement monitoring. The cushions are adjustable, removable, and easy to wash. We love road trips, and this car seat has been with us through each and every one!

Promising review: "I can’t say enough good things about the Babyark car seat. As a first-time mom, safety is my top priority, and this seat's sturdy build and advanced features give me peace of mind on every drive. My son absolutely loves it. The comfort level is exceptional, and ever since we made the switch, he refuses to go back to his old seat. The sleek design is a bonus, fitting seamlessly into our car's interior. If you're looking for a car seat that combines top-notch safety, comfort, and style, I highly recommend the Babyark. Worth every penny!" —Tram L.

Preorder from Babyark (available in two colors) or from Nordstrom for $990 (available in blue).

This swivels, rocks, and has TikTok parents (and this very BuzzFeed writer) going wild. I got this chair during my second trimester, and I really and truly cried when I sat down and realized it had adjustable lumbar support. I read the entire ACOTAR series while comfortably sitting in this chair — we've been through a lot together. It is so comfortable I consider it an actual crime that it's pitched toward nurseries, because *everyone* should know about this. This unreasonably chic recliner is gonna be a bright and airy addition to anyone's home. Its electric design adjusts the footrest, posture, and headrest with the push of a button. Plus, the fabric is stain-resistant. It even has a USB port so parents can charge their phone while holding baby (i.e. without even leaving their seat). This is the only chair anyone needs. And *everybody* needs it.

Promising review: "I sit/lie on my glider every day to nurse and sleep on. I exclusively breastfeed my 4-month-old baby, so my back and arms are so achy. Good thing I have the world’s most comfortable glider. I tried other rocking chairs from Pottery Barn and Crate & Barrel; they were either too narrow (where I can't sit crisscross applesauce) or too short. Nurture& definitely tops all other products out there in the same price range." —Cat K.

Get it on sale from Nurture& for $1,199 (available in five colors/fabric styles) or from Amazon (available in four colors) — check out Nurture&'s landing page for more.

This award-winning pediatrician-developed bassinet is sure to become any parent's most trusted companion. It's designed to recognize and respond when the baby fusses at night, playing white noise and rocking them back to sleep. If parents want, they'll be able to connect to the sleep app and keep track of their infant's sleep cycle. The app will also alert parents if baby can't be settled by the bassinet and needs some human attention.

Snoo was developed by Dr. Harvey Karp, a pediatrician and author of The Happiest Baby On The Block. I'm not exaggerating when I say thinking about this bassinet makes me emotional. In fact, surprisingly so as I'm writing this review. My daughter was just over 4lbs when she was born, and we couldn't believe we were able to take such a tiny baby home. I'm an anxious person and was so grateful to have a sleeping system that I was confident in. The swaddling straps are comfortable, breathable, and secure (so I knew I didn't have to worry about her rolling in the night). It follows the American Academy of Pediatrics recommendations for safe sleep: swaddle, on their backs, on a flat surface. My husband and I are still surprised to this day by how comfortably we slept with a newborn in our lives. I mean, I know my kid is perfect, but this bassinet *may* have had something to do with it.

Get it new from Happiest Baby for $1,695 (also available as a rental).
