No shade, but your baby will look so much cooler with these on. Their eyes will feel better, too, which is great. But the *cool* factor? That's what we're all really here for.

When it comes to sun safety for little ones, we often think of keeping them cool, hydrated, and slathered in sunscreen, but sunglasses should also be top of that list. They're recommended for kids 2–8, but the baby in the website images is 13 months — to help give you an idea of the fit on infants. If that age range sounds wide, that's because it is! Toddler's faces become longer and leaner as they age, which means if you've got a high-quality pair of frames, they can last years.

Frames designed to last that long are well worth the splurge, especially when you think about how fast your baby is growing out of everything else!

If I could steal these from my daughter, I would. This playful pair of sunglasses is as eye-catching as it is eye-protecting. The squiggly sides help secure the frames to your child's face, and the oversize round frames aren't just a great aesthetic (though that's certainly the case) — they're also made to cover as much of your baby's face as possible while still staying lightweight and comfortable. You can see my daughter in the two images above, wearing the glasses exactly one year apart. At both ages, she could keep them on comfortably. They're recommended for babies 9–24 months, but they still fit my 2 1/2-year-old, and she'll wear them again this summer! The design has slight shields that block rays trying to sneak in from the sides. Fit Tech is used on the nose pads, temples, and the inside of the arms — this soft material adapts to a child's facial structure to eliminate pressure points. The arm ends are adjustable up to 360 degrees, which is part of the reason my kiddo has been able to wear hers so long! These include a strap, a hard case, and a cleansing cloth.
