Chris Pratt may be the star of more blockbuster movie franchises than any of his peers, but most of his kids don’t have a clue.

While stopping by the “Today” show to promote “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie,” the actor was asked whether the three little ones he shares with wife Katherine Schwarzenegger think it’s “cool” he voices the legendary video game character Mario.

“My 5-year-old, my 3-year-old and my 1-year-old have never seen movies,” Pratt said. “Katherine is very old-school when it comes to screens and technology and all of that stuff. So, we’re waiting.”

Pratt said their family’s screen embargo won’t last forever.

“There’s gonna be a season, they’re gonna realize their dad is really cool,” he joked. “They haven’t realized it yet, but one day.”

Pratt and Schwarzenegger have three children together: Ford, 16 months, Eloise, 3, and Lyla, 5.

Pratt’s admission was surprising, considering how many kid-friendly hits he has on his resumé. He’s appeared in six different Marvel movies, three “Jurassic Park” films, two big-screen Lego flicks, and his second spin as beloved comic strip cat Garfield is currently in the works.

While his littlest ones haven’t seen their dad at work yet, Pratt previously revealed that his eldest son Jack, 13, is a big fan.

In 2021, Pratt told Ellen DeGeneres how his child with ex-wife Anna Faris “sees ’em all.”

“Even the ones he shouldn’t see,” Pratt said. “He’s a great critic. He started to become a bit of a movie buff.”
