"It’s crazy how differently everyone reacts. Not just weight loss, but hair, mood, and even organ health."

"It no longer rules my life. I’m not skinny, but my blood sugar is stable, my cholesterol dropped, and I’m able to do more physically. Everyone has a different experience, but for me, this was a life-changing drug, and I am so grateful."

"My anxiety is reduced, probably because of general correlations and having an easier time with exercise and pain in general. People are so much nicer to me. I feel seen again. I was very negative about considering it and felt like it was cheating or was lazy. I still feel this way sometimes and don’t love talking about being on it. I am grateful to have a chance to course correct and have a better life."

"Pluses: I have lost 70 lbs, feel fantastic, and am told I look great. I have had a bunch of those side effects, including nausea, constipation, and/or diarrhea, but they haven't been too bad.

Negatives: a flattening of my emotions. I am not that interested in eating (YAY!) but also not that interested in other pleasurable things, like sex and alcohol (never had a problem with alcohol, but now am satisfied with less). Worth it? 100%. I went from pre-diabetic to nowhere near diabetic, am running as fast as I did 15 years ago (I am a senior citizen), and feel mentally more alert than ever. I am not vain in the slightest, but I enjoy the ease I now have in buying clothes. Sometimes one needs clothing, and the struggle is gone. I still hate to shop, though."
