The United States Postal Service has scheduled an Indianapolis job fair, looking for applicants for a variety of positions.

The event, at the USPS Conference Center at 8765 Guion Road, is set for Friday, March 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Openings in Indiana include part-time flexible carriers, rural carrier associates and city carrier assistants. Pay can reach $26.28 hourly and includes some benefits.

"Accepting a position with the United States Postal Service is the first step that could lead to a long, fulfilling career with a dynamic, forward-thinking organization committed to delivering for the American people," USPS said in a media advisory Thursday, March 12.

Personnel will be onsite at the job fair to answer questions and provide more information.
