Top-tier oral care is worth spending on, but why break the bank when you can get great results for less?

In fact, to prove it, we hunted down some reviewer-beloved electric toothbrushes that all cost under $50. These are way more affordable than many of the super luxe models on the market, and still offer convenient features like smart timers to make sure you’re brushing for the full two minutes, wireless charging, multiple brushing modes and more. If your budget is tight but you’re hoping to maintain your pearly whites, look no further than the options below.

We've previously covered the Aquasonic Black Series ultra-whitening toothbrush, which is ridiculously highly-rated (4.5-star average across over 127,000 ratings) and has reviewers calling it the "9th wonder of the world." The toothbrush offers four brushing modes with a smart timer, 40,000 vibrations per minute (vpm), wireless charging and a four-week battery life. The toothbrush comes with a travel case and eight brush heads, each of which should last you three to four months. That's 2 and a half years of great brushing before you need to repurchase anything — a great deal, if you ask us.

How stunning is this Aquasonic Vibe Series brush? Available in eight fun colors, this brush is otherwise essentially identical to the Black Series, with four brushing modes, wireless charging, 40,000 vpm, four weeks of battery life on a single charge, an included travel case and eight brush heads. Basically, if you want the Black Series but in a vibrant hue that makes you excited to reach for your toothbrush, this is the one.

Promising review: "This is honestly a really great toothbrush for the price you get , my teeth feel so much cleaner ! The only thing you’ll have to get used to is the size of the brush. It’s maybe half a size smaller than standard American toothbrushes, so it feels weird at first. But it’s cleaning better than a hand standardized sized toothbrush, so it is worth the getting the used to in my opinion. My gums feel healthier , teeth whiter , and the pink color is so cute. I recommend it if sizes don’t bother you :)" —Katherine Torres

Philips Sonicare electric toothbrushes have been recommended to us by dentists in the past, but many of their models are on the pricier side. Not so with the 4100 Power Toothbrush, which you can grab for just under $50. Available in six colors, this one has a vpm of 31,000, 14 days of battery life on a single charge and two intensity settings. The two-minute timer comes with QuadPacer to make sure you're giving enough love to all areas of your mouth. This brush also has a feature usually seen only in more expensive models: a pressure sensor, which tells you if you're brushing too hard so your teeth and gums stay protected. The trade-off is that this one doesn't come with replacement heads, which you'll need to buy separately.

Another brand you probably know is the dentist-recommended Oral-B, but you might not have known they offer an electric toothbrush under $50. The Pro 1000 has three cleaning modes, a smart timer with 30 seconds allotted to each quadrant of your mouth, a pressure sensor and an LED charge indicator so you know when the brush is low on battery. This one also has a round brush head, if you prefer that over the standard rectangular of most options on this list. Again, this one doesn't come with replacement heads, so you'll have to buy those separately.

Don't want to worry about carrying around a charging cord, or packing a slightly bulkier toothbrush when you're on the go? Opt for this slim Philips Sonicare battery-powered brush, which is lower-tech than most of the brushes on this list but still offers micro-vibrations for a better clean than a manual toothbrush. Enjoy the two-minute timer with 30-second notifications and a three-month battery life. It comes in four colors, either on its own with just a travel case, or in a bundle with two replacement heads.

For even cheaper, you can grab Bitvae's Daily D2 electric toothbrush, which may just have even more bells and whistles: Enjoy five brushing modes, a two-minute timer, a two-in-one toothbrush holder and protective cover, 60-day battery life and a travel case. This one comes with eight replacement heads for even more bang for your buck, and also comes in four colors, so you're not limited to standard black.

Promising review: "This is probably the best toothbrush I've ever owned. It does everything the expensive oral b ones do without spending over a hundred dollars. Also comes with replacement brushes. Highly recommend." —Randy

If you like the specs of the Bitvae Daily D2 but prefer a round brush head, you're in luck, because their Daily R1 brush is nearly identical, just with round brush heads. Once again, enjoy five brushing modes, a two-minute timer and 60-day battery life, The eight brush heads can give you two years of use out of the gate. It comes in four colors.

It's pretty rare to see an electric toothbrush for as low as $10 that actually works, so of course this option — and its glowing reviews — caught our eye. The sonic toothbrush boasts 31,000 vpm, five brushing modes, eight brush heads, a two-minute timer and up to 30 days of battery life on a full charge. Another unique feature of this one is that the bottom twists off to reveal the hidden USB charging port. The sleek look of this one is hard to beat, as are the six color options, which include a couple of fun gradients and gold detailing.

Yep, that's right — we found another $10 electric toothbrush that boasts even more vpm with up to 42,000. It's kind of ridiculous how much you get for $10 with this purchase: You can enjoy four brushing modes, a 60-day battery life, a built-in smart timer, eight brush heads and a travel case. This one also comes in four colors.

Promising review: "This is the underdog of electronic toothbrushes! I was surprised of the power of the settings and how clean my teeth, gums and tongue felt! It comes with a charging port, 7 additional heads and a sleek travel case! What other electric toothbrush on the market gives you all of this!! This is a must get for gift to yourself and makes an amazing gift everyone will love! Treat yourself today, I am glad I did!" —Chef CC

Available in nine colors, you can get this toothbrush on its own with eight brush heads or in a set of two with 10 brush heads, making it easy to upgrade the whole family if you're all hoping to hop on the electric toothbrush train. This brush offers 40,000 vpm, five brushing modes and a two-minute timer with 30-second intervals for each quadrant. The battery life lasts up to 90 days. This toothbrush's bristles are designed in a "W" formation to really get in all the nooks and crannies for a deeper clean.

Promising review: "The major brand of sonic toothbrush costs about ten times what this one does. This is my second brush from this brand. My first one is still working fine, but I wanted a backup for peace of mind. When I went to the dentist, for my semi-yearly cleaning, the hygienist told me she had very little to do. She said whatever I'm doing really cleaned out the tartar and my teeth were in great shape. I use this twice a day, with a water flosser in the morning, and actual floss in the evening. If you take care of your teeth, they'll take care of you." —GaryC
