Ariana Grande 'Sings' To Trump That He's Unpopular In 'Late Show' Video Sorcery

Donald Trump probably doesn’t need a witch to remind him of his dismal approval ratings of late. But through the magic of quick edits and digital sorcery, Ariana Grande, aka Glinda the Good Witch in “Wicked,” sings just how “unpopular” the president is in a “Late Show” spoof on Tuesday. You know it’s not real because Trump actually sits and listens. Watch the video right here. In the clip, a supercut of real-life negative news reports about Trump’s sinking appeal leads into Grande’s Glinda confronting the president. “Unpopular, you’re deeply unpopular,” she sings (not in her actual voice) to the tune of the musical’s hit song “Popular.” “Dictators make you smile, so does this pedophile, you sent ICE to the heartland. You tweet racist memes and make children scream with your hideous corpse-like hands.” “Unpopular, historically unpopular, you trashed Bad Bunny and the economy, and tore the East Wing down,” she continues. “So let’s start turning your poll numbers around.” But apparently the president isn’t having it. “These people are crazy,” he says in an outburst pulled from his State of the Union address. Glinda finally figures out it’s a lost cause. “Never mind,” she says.
