The surprise return of HGTV star Nicole Curtis to TV had some serious bumps after the appearance of a video that shows her using a racial slur while working on a house.

As a result, HGTV said it is removing her long-running series, “Rehab Addict,” from all platforms as of Wednesday afternoon.

Back in July, Curtis chose to pause “Rehab Addict,” but surprised viewers by announcing it would return with new episodes starting Feb. 11.

But her return hasn’t been as smooth as she probably hoped after Radar Online posted a never-broadcast video where she utters the N-word while struggling on one particular renovation task.

“Why? It’s the last one,” she laments, before muttering: “Oh, fart n****r.”

Curtis immediately recognizes her unforced error, and quickly begs the crew to delete her racist cursing.

“What the fuck is that I just said?” she says, while the off-camera crew laughed. “Can you kill that? Fuck my life.”

A source told Radar that the video was filmed in Wyoming about two years ago for an episode that aired last June.

“HGTV was recently made aware of an offensive racial comment made during the filming of Rehab Addict. We understand that language like this is hurtful and disappointing to our viewers, partners, and employees, and it does not align with the values of HGTV,” the network said in a statement to HuffPost, adding, “We remain dedicated to fostering a culture of respect and inclusion across our content and our workplace.”

HuffPost reached out to Curtis, but she didn’t immediately respond. In an Instagram post she made promoting the new season, many of her followers asked her to explain her use of the slur.

She later addressed the cancellation in another Instagram post:

“There is more to this, but my family comes first and I need to be mom right now more than anything else. I will take the time to be as I’ve always been with you, transparent and honest. TMZ called me as I had just turned my phone on after being at school — I said this briefly — but there is more.”

She also told TMZ that “the word in question is wrong and not part of my vocabulary and never has been, and I apologize to everyone.”

The website said Curtis was unaware HGTV had canceled “Rehab Addict” when they contacted her.
